Just being real, if we are giving out props for pioneering hip-hop, then we have to send a coupe of crowns up to Queens, New York for Salt-N-Pepa. They were a sisterhood. They were independent. They were groundbreaking. When you look around at what is going on in female rap today, it is definitely an arm on the fists that these ladies used to hold the mic. We are stoked to cover the release of the new Salt-N-Pepa Movie playing on Lifetime.
