It is always beautiful to see artists from the same region collaborating when they reach the next level, especially when they have a history of working together on the come up.
One of our favorite dance songs of 2020 was brought to us by DJ Chose and Beatking in June. Since the release, the Thick Challenge has taken wave, and the hit has been shared across multiple platforms. It was one of the top songs on TikTok. If you haven’t seen the crazy number of people showing off their thick versions while applying light to hardcore twerks, you must have successfully bunkered down all year.
Yet, we didn’t expect Chose to recruit the Hot Girl Captain, Megan Thee Stallion, for the song’s remix.
Thick isn’t the pair’s first collaboration. DJ Chose produced the beats for Megan’s WTF I Want, Last Week in HTx, and Stalli Freestyle. As he has shared on social media, he has helped numerous people get their plaques, and now it is his turn.
